Announcement of Closure

It is with deep sadness that we announce the closure of Concordia Anesthesiology, effective November 30, 2025.

This difficult decision follows a combination of long-standing challenges, including:

• Significant market salary increases that began during the pandemic and have continued to impact financial stability.
  
  

• Ongoing scheduling inefficiencies that increased provider costs without corresponding revenue support.
  
  

• Reductions in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement rates, placing additional strain on operations.
  
  

• Inability to renegotiate contractual agreements to include essential subsidies, resulting in Concordia carrying an unsustainable financial burden for far too long.
